What can you do with it?If you haven’t gotten your hands on a Hyperwear Sandbell yet, it is a disc-like neoprene bag filled with sand and varies in diameter as the weight increases from 2lbs to 50lbs. Its unique soft design, helps develop grip strength and arm strength from the shifting sand inside. The shifting sand will also activate internal stabilizers, adding a little zest to basic moves.

The sandbell allows you to have a complete, diverse workout without all the extra equipment. If you’ve ever used medicine balls, dumbbells, kettlebells, weight plates or gliding discs… you can easily transfer some of those moves to this one piece of equipment. The following moves will show you how to streamline your workout.

Benefits from Switching:

  1. Safer: Unique soft design. Once the sandbell is slammed to the floor, it stays there. Medicine balls can rebound back and hit you in the face.
  2. Comfortable: Nothing like a hard, clunky weight plate digging into you while you’re trying to get your sweat on. The sandbell will conform to your body, letting you focus on your reps.
  3. Added Resistance: Take your wrokout to the next level by adding some weight to gliding exercises you already do.
  4. You don’t have to worry about dropping the weights anymore.
  5. Pain Free: No blisters from gripping too tight or bruises from a kettlebell gone astray.

Much like tools, shoes are built for specific purposes and this is a point that is really important when it comes to your fitness and athletic training goals. You wouldn’t think twice about wearing your stilettos to weightlift so why would you wear a set of Converse hi-tops to do a marathon?
