In 2011 I was diagnosed with an acute inflammatory disorder. My joints were swollen so I couldn’t fully flex my arms or legs and was bed ridden for 4 months.
Fortunately it wasn’t permanent. In 2012 I started a workout regimen that included running and moderate weight lifting. Today you couldn’t tell that I was ever that sick. I know that being healthy is an ongoing effort, but I remind myself that regardless of drawbacks and losing motivation, the most important thing is to keep going.
